The Above Linkblogs Might Contain "Borrowed" links.
Linkblogs do not substantially contribute traffic to my blog that I can discover. They all go offsite, and are often accessed from my blog. It's possible to access them from the RSS according to my settings. Still, even if I were to get ads clicking on a linkblog from the RSS won't drive more people to my blog than otherwise because they leave my resources. (Note to self, do more posts, less LBs with sources I find). I explain because I sometimes borrow links from people at Twitter, and often forget who put them up. (To fellow Twitterers: If you have a link to your blog, I will point it there, but Twitter, being impermanent, cannot hold your link for people to discover from there. I only 'borrow' them to get news out to as many people as I can who might not have seen the reports and videos found by the smart people I follow at Twitter or find in search rooms.RSS Add-Me

The hot topic Wednesday?
Not which infrastructure programs should we start right away to give a boost to our economy and our nation.
Not how do we get working on green technology to make sure we stay on the cutting edge on that which would be very valuable for our economy.
Not how do we best evaluate how to extract ourselves from Iraq and make things better for Afghanistan.
Not how we can help out in current and future trouble spots without wearing down our military.
Not even how can we best protect our nation from terrorists while protecting the constitution from intrusions on privacy by the government.
Oh, I know that the Obama people were probably working on that, but "we the people" whom Barack Obama graciously invited to be part of the government, which indeed the founding fathers wanted us to be are obsessing about.
MICHELLE OBAMA'S DRESS?????!!!!
Just because she didn't wear a pastel suit we are having problems passing stools and getting all bent out of shape!
This is unbelievable!
Obviously a lot of female writers were steaming about it, but I know that Limbaugh and his ilk were on this too.
After reading one article that was devoid of sense or taste, I steered clear of the rest but they sure were everywhere.
While working I have the chance to listen to some balanced and some liberal talk shows by podcast, so there I could escape the stupid politipop articles I kept running into while reading online newspapers.
And I thought newspapers were supposed to be the epitome of news and analysis. Now I'm back though and keep running into more informed insight (/sarcasm) on whether Michelle should have worn what they call "that dress".
What an insult to women that these writers think we care so much about making sure Michelle fits our preconceived notions of what a first lady should be wearing.
