Birth Control Pills Are Murder?

Yeah, I know, the bloating, it might feel like virtual death in this society which over-values anorexic figures, but that's not what is being talked about here.

The anti-choice crowd decided some years back that now most birth control pills are murder as are IUDs and some other forms of birth control.

With mainstream news bending so heavily to over cover the most extreme right wing positions, and churches slurping up the big anti-choice money (often mostly from affluent people and pro-business groups which value low taxes and oversized workforce that can be used like chattel) we could come to a point where there is little alternative to young and working age women becoming brood cows to churn out virtual slaves for big business and the war machines.   We must intellectually fight this.  

Major religious leaders including the pope have admitted that there really is no injunction in the Bible against abortion, none.  You wouldn't know that from today's radicalized leaders of fundamentalist denominations and churches.  Even mainstream churches though depend on business money and have changed their 'philosophy to make abortion worse than the Bible and other teachings in religion would indicate.  

Oh what was that the Apostle Paul said?  That one should depend on the words of the Lord for guidance?  No, these days we must rely on the words of highly politicized right winger preachers and religious groups making big bucks from business groups to tell us what God said that He (absentmindedly I guess) left out of the Bible.

Yes, business controls religion just like it does what we see on the Boob Tube.  

And, in fact, the Bush administration did actually declare most birth control pills as well as IUDs to be a form of abortion last year. (See post "Bush Administration Set to Redefine Many Types of Contraception as Abortion. Clinton Calls Plan "Insulting" Vows to Fight "). What I think even most pro-life people don't understand is that if they get abortion banned they would, under Republican presidents at least, then have absolutely no protection except for that which worked so miserably before birth control pills were legal.

And the Bush administration used their new determination  to attack third world women by, of course, stopping the supply of birth control pills to the aid groups that the US government helps.  In Africa and other third world nations in which pregnancy and birth are extremely dangerous to the woman and families, this wacko philosophy pushed by religious groups getting money from business interests, has likely already lead to deaths.  (Obama overturned the Bush administration's prohibition on offering necessary abortions to third world women shortly after taking office.)

But now the losers of the anti-choice societies have decided that women who take the pill are murderers.  

Will they be aiming their guns at them next?  Will it be you?  Will it be your wife, or girlfriend?

Can we get some action against the anti-choice anti-birth control  extremists now before they start shooting our women on the streets?
