Bob Barr Jumps Into US Presidential Race

Former Congressman from Georgia has entered the presidential election running for a slot as the candidate from the Libertarian party which will hold their convention in Denver over Memorial Day weekend.
Mr. Barr said that the US government has "run amok" as he announced his candidacy:
"As the American people see their standard of living falling, the standard of government keeps going up."
He also admitted that he was asked not to run by the McCain people but some analysts think he could hurt Barack Obama more.
