I was looking for a video of the great end of the roll call vote I heard yesterday on the radio as I was working, and came upon a couple apparently featuring a woman who is greatly upset by Hillary's loss. I don't mind that she's upset. I don't mind her mindset that her way must be followed and no one else's. Even the Democrats must have some of those. I ignore her phony statistics and lies about Barack Obama, and some sort of conspiracy from the press, waiting for her to have her say.
But wait until you get to the point where the woman starts spouting Limbaughisms about the Democratic party that are completely unrelated to whether Hillary is or is not the nominee. The woman loudly declares that the Democratic party has lost its moral compass and that John McCain hasn't. Um, she might want to talk to Carol McCain (the crippled first wife that McCain dumped for the hottest heiress in Arizona who could help him get into Congress) about that.
Or ask the people who lost money in the Savings and Loan scandal which saw land deals go to McCain's wife Cindy whose monetary support of the family is crucial to maintaining the standard of living they enjoy.
Okay, so who cares that some guy is trying to make some money by creating cheap little videos to show other Limbaugh fans to try to collect donations as some kind of effective mind manipulation set up?
No one.
On the other hand, if GOP money were to be found going into such groups, just like Republican donations were found to outweigh liberal ones (no wait, reviewing the report I see that they were found to be all but the candidate's donations) like what happened to the Green Party in Pennsylvania in 2006 according to research by the Talking Points Memo crew summed up
here, it would show that people are being manipulated by the GOP to help Republicans win contests. As would the
donations from big GOP donors that went to Nader in 2004 .
This, in no way, takes away from the great effort and deep feeling of people like Cynthia McKinney and Ralph Nader who, I'm sure, aren't in on the secret and really mean what they say. But, if GOP money is going into liberal groups that tend to pull votes from Democrats, that should really be exposed, when it happens, everytime.
Now one video does not a conspiracy make. But wait, watch this next one. Doesn't the lady talking about PUMAs in this video sound like the one from the former? The same rasp in the throat. The same loud "me first" demand in the attitude. Poor Hillary. Though, of course, the Senator's professionalism is incredibly refreshing compared to the over the top hostile claims and demands of some of her backers who have a lot more in common with the lowest of the GOP crowd. Oh yeah. That was my point in the first place.
BTW, I do not think all the people, or even a majority of PUMAs are GOP trolls at all. I do think a few trolls have been planted by the GOP or freelancers, looking for post election money, in and around the movement to convince the weak minded to vote for McCain.
