I Hope The Lack of a Formal Plan Doesn't Stop the Feds From Throwing the Book at The Assassination Plotters

If this had been a plot against McCain or Palin would they have been so nonchalant.

If the school kids to be included were white and affluent would the authorities and mainstream news be more assertive on the evil of the plans no matter how half-baked?

Remember the plot in Denver.  Oh wait, it wasn't really a plot, just some guys on meth with guns and some day dreams of being the heroes of the right by killing Barack Obama.

Did they even get charged with anything on which they will have to stand trial and go to prison?

Can you imagine the police being so blase' over a threat from meth heads to the Republicans? 

Did letting the guys in Denver off easy inspire others?

Did haters figure they could get away with a certain amount of carnage before they were stopped?

Our most important liberal and civil rights leaders have seldom been given much more protection than Musharraf gave to Benazir Bhutto.  Our heroes depend on the kindness of others while right wing candidates spew lies and innuendo against them and no one dares to question the Republicans' almost obvious hate and racism.

Right wing haters are also inspired by talk radio and Internet sites like Free Republic to boast of ever more horrendous acts they desire to do.

These schmucks that were caught today are just the tip of an iceberg of hate and desire for violence on minorities unleashed by Republicans, but the mentors, enablers, and yes, even those who basically incite such violence will never be charged.  I suppose that could be because they help the fat cats of the nation to get rid of people who stand in the way of their raping the middle class.

If you want to know what twisted the minds of the plotters so recently caught, look no further than Limbaugh, McCain/Palin, other leaders of the right and what could be called white racist jihadi forums.

Also, never forget, not just what they desired to do to a very decent man who may be just what our nation needs, but what they planned to do to school children.  I think it's very telling that innocents would be caught up in the right wing web of hate. 

Last week Ron Reagan played some phone messages left for ACORN offices. One lady kept repeating various threats about lynching "them".  A man said that all the immigrant children should die.  Reagan brought up a point after the guy's spiel when he presented the idea that caller was likely to be "pro life", too.

Interesting, how that should come about right after John McCain and Sarah Palin kept repeating that lowly ACORN which simply seeks to enable low income and minority people vote and get shelter and others necessities of life.

We need to hold those who incite the hate accountable. But will we?

Ha!  Pretty soon the news media will be repeating the right wing lies about the latest assassination plot.

I bet I know one of the lies that will be floated.  Obama set them up!  Yeah he wanted these guys to kill a lot of kids and then try get him to help his poll numbers.  AS IF SENATOR OBAMA NEEDED THAT!  

Too bad online betting is illegal.  I'd set up a pool or something on the hate-filled lies the right will be hatching over the assassination plot.

I find it rather disheartening that the mainstream news media keep calling the suspects "skinheads".  I think it's a ploy to distance the hate these young men feel for minorities and Obama from the Elites of the Republican party who have inspired their feelings and their plans.
