The Bush administration is finally beginning to wise up about some of their war and foreign policy.
They are sending troops (in planes) or munitions over the border into Pakistan after high value targets or Taliban and tribal militia who are attacking Afghan or NATO forces on Afghanistan's side of the border.
Funny, when Barack Obama suggested that he would do the same, the McCain camp and all his doppelgangers wailed that the suggestion showed how inexperienced the senator from Illinois was.
The truth is that people who work with Mr. Obama, like many people still not purged from the US military and Intelligence department, do know quite a bit about war, foreign policy and how to run the government. They just don't get the top positions as people like General Petraeus do. As many have said, there is no experience that can prepare a person for being president except being president. But many people behind Senator Obama have had experience in the higher regions of government and it shows as the Bush administration has already taken actions that mirror Obama's suggestions or is planning to do so.
A. Attacking high value targets within Pakistan or responding to attacks from Pakistan by attacking the areas within that nation from which attacks come.
B. And now talking to Iran.
Interestingly, John McCain appears to be against these sensible suggestions from the junior senator of Illinois.
I guess his idea, like Roosevelt's is to invade countries and take them over until they are safe for American big business to exploit.
