And this is just the Bush administrations cooked numbers, which are so bad that many economists are calling a recession when the official numbers haven't shown two recessive quarters.

Serious economists don't believe the Bush administration's numbers anymore and only strong arming keeps the news media in line over them.  But the daily bullshit from the White House must be put out as is or they'll get a call from the press secretary's office and other actions will be taken that could destroy a career.

In the first place: Remember you have to add 3.85% to Bush administration unemployment numbers to equate them  with Clinton's numbers since so many have dropped out of the workforce above those who had dropped out during the Clinton administration.  I dealt with this phenomenon  and the straight out lying in previous posts.  I will try to find them and link to them later.

Remember what they used to say about war being good for the economy?
