The Above Linkblogs Might Contain "Borrowed" links.
Linkblogs do not substantially contribute traffic to my blog that I can discover. They all go offsite, and are often accessed from my blog. It's possible to access them from the RSS according to my settings. Still, even if I were to get ads clicking on a linkblog from the RSS won't drive more people to my blog than otherwise because they leave my resources. (Note to self, do more posts, less LBs with sources I find). I explain because I sometimes borrow links from people at Twitter, and often forget who put them up. (To fellow Twitterers: If you have a link to your blog, I will point it there, but Twitter, being impermanent, cannot hold your link for people to discover from there. I only 'borrow' them to get news out to as many people as I can who might not have seen the reports and videos found by the smart people I follow at Twitter or find in search rooms.RSS Add-Me
Mumbai Attack. Reasons, group taking credit, history, slide shows. Update India Navy Boarding Suspicious Ship
At least 101 people were killed in Mumbai as a famous hotel and other popular sites were targeted by gunmen.
Reuters, India has a lot of information on who and why at "Reuters: Q+A-Who could be behind the Mumbai attacks and why?" They also have a slide show of pictures.
A Washington Post report "Dozens Die in Mumbai Attacks" shows some of the confusion and fear that accompanie the attack.
I've figured out how to link to specific sites in Google Maps. They even allow embedding, but they use iframe and this blog doesn't allow iframes in posts (though I can make a widget outside of a post with an iframe insert) so you can see a Google map with the Taj Mahal Hotel across from the Gateway of India near the letter C by clicking here.
The AP as hosted at Yahoo is now reporting that the Navy of India has boarded a ship they find suspicious near the city in "AP: Indian navy boarding suspicious ship off Mumbai".
Plus they have a slide show linked from that report.
