The Above Linkblogs Might Contain "Borrowed" links.
Linkblogs do not substantially contribute traffic to my blog that I can discover. They all go offsite, and are often accessed from my blog. It's possible to access them from the RSS according to my settings. Still, even if I were to get ads clicking on a linkblog from the RSS won't drive more people to my blog than otherwise because they leave my resources. (Note to self, do more posts, less LBs with sources I find). I explain because I sometimes borrow links from people at Twitter, and often forget who put them up. (To fellow Twitterers: If you have a link to your blog, I will point it there, but Twitter, being impermanent, cannot hold your link for people to discover from there. I only 'borrow' them to get news out to as many people as I can who might not have seen the reports and videos found by the smart people I follow at Twitter or find in search rooms.RSS Add-Me
NASA Names Shuttle Replacement After Greek "God of War".
What the F*ck are they trying to tell us?
Isn't it enough that we have had to see our young people die to grab that light sweet crude for Big Oil? Now we have the government virtually assuring us that our future space vehicles will be advertisements for killing!
Excerpt report from The Register "NASA inks deal for Shuttle replacements ":
NASA has signed a $1.8 billion contract with Utah-based Alliant Techsystems (ATK) for "design, development, testing, and evaluation of the first stage of the Ares I and Ares V launch vehicles." Ares I and V will replace the Space Shuttle fleet as NASA's primary means of getting people and stuff into earth orbit.
The deal, announced on Friday, includes delivery of five ground static test motors, two ground vibration test articles and four flight test stages. NASA doesn't get any boosters to use under this deal: the operational rockets will be subject to a seperate contract.

Oh great! But how fitting for this administration to come up with such a name. Did these guys watch too much Xena, Warrior Princess? (Actually X, WP was a fine show that our family enjoyed while the kids were teens, but Ares played a prominent role and had a full set of hair that one can assume NASA and DOD chiefs might envy.) Let's hope it is no more than hair envy and bad judgement. Or does it have something to do with the militarization of space?
