Governor Paterson has said he'd sign a gay marriage bill if the legislature sends him one. And with Democrats close to gaining control of the legislature in the November election, such legislation could make it to a vote.
On the other hand a law professor warns people against getting excited about anything getting done in Albany according the news bite.
I guess a lot of people are hoping she's wrong.
