Poor Mr. Limbaugh. He's going to be apoplectic. He and the right wing talking points idiots have it all worked out that Obama is involved with Blagojevich's corruption. Luckily they avoid newspapers unless they can slice and dice something out of an article that serves their own purpose. They really hate messing up their story with actual facts. I've already heard the solidified right wing story that Obama was Blagojevich's wing man. And, in fact, you can see the result of Obama's concern for real ethics reform was to flush out a real crook.
So now, those who are trying to bring down our nation because we didn't vote another neocon into the presidency are quite willing to go directly against the admonition of the Bible and blame Obama for another man's sin.
It would be silly to take a woman to trial for a murder her husband had done, unbeknownst to the lady, or vice versa, a man for his wife's unadmitted crime, but since Obama supported Mr. Blagovich for governor in his races, the right says he automatically qualifies to be codefendent with the governor.
Even the NY Times report on how Obama help expose the the man hints somehow the president elect shares some of the blame. The mainstream writers are such wimps when pressed by the right.
Excerpt "Obama’s Intervention for Ethics Bill Indirectly Led to Case Against Governor":
Mr. Obama placed [a] call to his political mentor, Emil Jones Jr., president of the Illinois Senate. Mr. Jones was a critic of the legislation, which sought to curb the influence of money in politics, as was Mr. Blagojevich, who had vetoed it. But after the call from Mr. Obama, the Senate overrode the veto, prompting the governor to press state contractors for campaign contributions before the law’s restrictions could take effect on Jan. 1, prosecutors say.
Well, that seems to answer a Yahoo Newsroom question "Who was trying to buy Obama’s Senate seat? "
