Race Tightening My Ass! Bloomberg Reports Obama Opens 10 pt Lead According to Two Polls

Sometime this weekend I skimmed a CNN report that was headlined that  the race was tightening and Obama's lead had shrunk to 5 percent.

They all but declared the race for John McCain right there and then.

Well, we know how polls go and the negative looking one had a string of names in front of it ending in Zogby, but I think the Zogby information was highly watered down by it.

Again we know how polls can show so many different things and John McCain's Adolf Hitler act warning Americans about the Evil Barack Obama just might inspire his loser base to attack voters who look like they are going to vote for Senator Obama. (Hint folks, if anyone stops and asks you on the way to the polls tell them you're McCain voters.  That will not be the time for honesty.)

Still CNN's assured pronouncement looks rather silly now.

Barack Obama widened his lead over John McCain two weeks before Election Day, with two national polls showing voters favor the Democrat by at least 10 points.

Obama holds a 14 point lead over Republican presidential nominee McCain in a Pew Research Center poll released today. The survey, taken from Oct. 16-19, shows Obama supported by 52 percent of registered voters and McCain backed by 38 percent. In late September, the Pew poll showed Obama with a 7 percentage point lead.

A Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll put Obama's support at 52 percent of voters to McCain's 42 percent, the biggest lead Obama has had over McCain in the poll since both men won their parties' nominations. The survey, conducted from Oct. 17-20, had a margin of error of plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.

The Pew poll showed voters giving Obama higher marks on the economy. Fifty-three percent of voters say Obama is better able to improve economic conditions compared with 32 percent who say the same about McCain.

 The more that John McCain plays the McNasty card, the worse it gets for him.  And then he tries to get his followers to "fight" to save America from imaginary socialists seriously threatening violence in the election.  We've already seen an ACORN worker physically attacked, most likely by one of McCain's riled up minions.

What don't they understand about how this looks to independent voters?

Even George W. Bush understood the lines that needed to be drawn while he was campaigning, so it can't be too hard to 'get'.

Really, this is making the election of 2000 look like a gentleman's debate.

Socialists, Muslims, ACORN, all comin' to git ya, folks!

But that little bruhaha about a Republican slamming people in to the Republican party using a phony petition out here in Cali sure died down fast.

At least his victims got to vote where Nathan Sproul's of Lincoln Strategy (formerly Sproul and Associates) Democratic registering victims' forms were allegedly trashed. Mainstream is awfully quiet about that scam, too.
