My Thoughts: The sad part is, apparently the man had money given to the workers so that they could contribute, apparently from his car dealership, ie from himself. If he had given his campaign the money himself, I believe it would have been as legal as Diet Soda, but from what I learned reading about the Romney campaign, it donating to your own campaign makes a good news story about how you can't attract outside money. (Except in CA where you can loan your gubenatorial campaign millions and take money after you're elected from the Indian and prison guard unions you promised not to take money from before you were elected and the great mainstream press never says a word -- if you're a Republican prince of Hollywood.)

Bus Lifted by New Yorkers. Baby Saved

The report says that 30 men lifted a bus off an off duty traffic cop who had been hit and was under a city bus. The men were able to lift the vehicle enough to pull the woman, who was 6 months pregnant, out. She was rushed to the hospital where the baby was born by caesarian section before the mortally injured woman died. Okay, You guys are tough. We get it. Too bad about the woman though.

Excerpt Boston Globe report "Clinton goes after Obama on NAFTA meeting"

UPDATE: The Canadian embassy in Washington, D.C., just issued a statement that appears to disavow the memo.
"In the recent report produced by the Consulate General in Chicago, there was no intention to convey, in any way, that Senator Obama and his campaign team were taking a different position in public from views expressed in private, including about NAFTA. We deeply regret any inference that may have been drawn to that effect.

But even worse is the question nagging at the back of my head "Where did the harpy come from?"

Naftagate?

I know this shrill bitch isn't Hillary Clinton. It must be the professional losers behind her.

They will do whatever it takes to win the nomination, though the Republicans already have tons of talking points against her. Though this trashy campaign is killing her chances in the general election, if she should get there, as well as possibly destroying Barack Obama's chances to stop Generalisimo McCain.

The big money got behind Hillary last year, (especially huge sums of insurance industry money) and now they are demanding their pound of flesh. The real people who stand to gain or lose are the professional losers that run Hillary's campaign. They must get Hillary the nomination if they are to win. Then they will be rewarded with jobs for the next Big Money Democrat's (or possibly even 3rd party -- whatever it takes to keep a real Liberal out of the White House) attempt to either gain the nomination or destroy any non sold out candidate that may actually be so idealistic as to try to fix our nation.

The Big Money donors don't care if Hillary or McCain wins really. But there'll be Hell to pay if the professional losers allow a President Obama to be elected since most of his money comes from smaller donations, and he is not beholden to them, but to Americans.

(The lady of the house thinks that the PL's are telling Hillary that she can be shrewish because she's a woman, and it's expected. Needless to say, my wife's more upset than I am over this. There are men giggling with glee about this new Hillary, coming out and acting like bigots say women do.)

Me. I'm just depressed.
