Gee, do we need another President Nutcake?
McCain's Foreign Policy speech in March included the call for kicking Russia out of the G-8, something that could not happen without the approval of all the G-8 members including Russia itself say McClatchy analysts, Matt Stearns and Warren P. Stroebel. See McClatchy report at Yahoo News "McCain's proposal to kick Russia out of G-8 is bold and unlikely ". (No excerpt within this post).
The call for such an act shows that McCain's foreign policy team is filled with the same old neoconservatives that got us into Iraq say the authors.
I'd like to add the fact that we need Russia's help in the war on terror or so we said earlier. Not to mention that keeping oil-rich Russia as a friend is a pretty good idea, too.
I dunno, but this sounds a whole lot like the same old "Tired old Politics" that McCain's talking points crew say he's not going to do.
A McCain spokesman says that McCain has felt this way since 2003, and that it's not a new "thing". But 2003 is no 2000 when McCain was a straight shooting, independent thinker. By 2003 he realized that dumber and more neocon the better and he's got that down in his campaign. Is a guy who is campaigning with stupid slogans really going to govern intelligently?
