The government of Thailand is blaming Thanksin supporters for the blasts on New Years Eve in Bangkok that could have killed many more people except that celebrations were cancelled for the evening.
Their reasoning, according to mainstream news reports is that the multiple blast set up was too complex for the Muslim separatists of the South even though
similar materials were used as have been used in southern attacks.
Of course, no one can change either right?
And no one could get some advice from other Muslim terrorist groups either, like al Qaeda that know more sophisticated ways of doing things.
Though I have to note that al Qaeda itself would't have given the warning attacks, but would have struck at the heart of the biggest part of the celebrations.
So, of course one doesn't want to speculate, but the Thai goverment sure does. Maybe that's because Thanksin is thinking of jumping back into Thai politics.
