Notice the half truth of this AP article "SiCKO patients got VIP treatment in Cuba " (which makes me think it was more free news from neocon sources)
Free news is a previously reported action by Republicans, Democrats, Bush administration sources (Karl Rove's "political shop" as described by Justice Department officials in memos dealing with the US Attorneys' (USAs) firing scandal.
The report mentions that the Cuban health system isn't as good as portrayed in the movie (mainly due to economic inability to maintain infrastructure, not due to lack of desire, competency, or professional dedication as you will find if you read carefully).
But they forget to tell you that Cuba has been under the thumb of US and other nations' economic sanctions for decades which was only made worse by the Bush administration.
This is typical of news planted by neocon or other right wing sources. Unbalanced and therefore ultimately giving a false perception of reality.
Free news is a bribe and should be reported as such in every article and by every journalist that employs it.
