Remember when Barack Obama turned down public financing because the GOP gets around the restrictions by having the national committee and 527s create big money ads for their candidate, thereby destroying the effectiveness and purpose of the system?
And the Republicans said "What national committee and 527 ads. You don't see any do you?"
(Of course not, Dummies. It's too early, yet.)
Well, now that the national eye (guided by mainstream news) is off in another direction they'll let a few hints slip.
From the NY Times report (referenced in another post, as well) "McCain Orders Shake-Up of His Campaign ".
There were other signs that Republicans were trying to get back on track in the fight with Senator Obama. The Republican National Committee this week formed an independent expenditure committee to run advertisements on behalf of Mr. McCain. The committee bought time for advertisements this weekend in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
Another interesting point is that though right wing ravers claim that the Move On controls Barack Obama, he told the group to back off and not run ads for him and they're complying. (From broadcast news sources.)
