Now the percentage of women participating in the workforce is reported to have dropped by 2.2 percent since the year 2000. (A couple of years ago I had reported that one source had said it had dropped by 1.85 by 2003.) Interestingly, a group web site which was not mainstream claimed that by 2005 the drop in women workers had recovered. They offer no proof. If you see look at the graphic offered by the New York Times article linked below, which is based on US government figures.
Also an article in The New York Times mentioned that when the government first noticed women dropping out, o "economists" (no mention of which economists) declared the phenomenon to come from women wanting to go back to the Mommy or Housewife track, but now they (the economists, the government) know it's because well paying jobs went overseas.
What gets me is that the government was getting information from 'experts' that seemed to have been provided by Franklin Graham. Did no one think to do a survey and ask the women themselves?
No, lets just assume whatever makes a politically correct story, until we have to change our it.
